Using the service
PadelTinder helps padel players find each other and find courts. You need to be 18 or over to create a profile.
Keep your profile honest. Misrepresenting your level wastes other players' time and is the fastest way to get reported.
Meeting other players
We introduce players to each other. We do not vet, verify or supervise anyone, and we are not part of any arrangement you make. Use normal judgement when meeting someone new — meet at the club, tell someone where you are going.
Conduct
Harassment, abuse, spam and commercial solicitation are not allowed. We remove profiles that behave this way, without notice.
Court information
Court and club details come from open data and may be out of date or wrong. Always check with the club before turning up. We are not responsible for bookings, pricing or availability at any venue.
Membership
Much of PadelTinder is free. Replying to anyone who messages you, joining and withdrawing from games, adding a club or court, following courts, searching for players and browsing the court directory all cost nothing, and we have no plans to change that.
A paid membership covers the things that start something: opening a conversation with a player you haven't met, and posting an open game. If a membership ends, you keep full access to every conversation and game you are already part of, and you can always reply and always withdraw.
A membership is personal to you and cannot be shared or transferred.
Payment and renewal
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
A membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel it. If we change the price, we will tell you before the change takes effect and you can cancel if you would rather not continue.
If a renewal payment fails, we keep your membership active for a short while so a card that has simply expired does not cut you off. If payment still cannot be taken, the membership ends.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the Membership page, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not pro-rated.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing and receive a refund. You can use that right even if you have already started a conversation — email us and we will refund you. Because a membership is a digital service you get access to straight away, we ask you to acknowledge at checkout that access begins immediately.
Outside that 14-day period we do not generally give refunds for time you have not used, but if something has gone wrong on our side, email us and we will put it right.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending a membership for conduct
If we remove your account for harassment, abuse, spam or fraud, your membership ends with it and we do not refund the remainder. In every other case, if we withdraw a paid feature or close the service, we refund the unused portion of what you have paid.
Changes
The service is early and will change. We may add, remove or charge for features, and we will tell you before anything you already rely on becomes paid.
